Your files stay between your phone and your Mac

ShuttleDrop copies files over the USB cable, directly from the phone to your Mac or back. No file, file name, photo or folder listing is ever sent to us or to anyone else. ShuttleDrop has no account and no cloud.

What leaves your Mac

Two things, and only when they happen:

Activating a license. When you paste a license key, ShuttleDrop sends that key and your Mac's name to Dodo Payments, the company that processes our payments, so the key can be checked and counted against its three-Mac limit. On each launch it re-checks the key the same way.
Buying. Purchases happen on Dodo Payments' checkout page under their privacy policy. We receive your email address and order details so we can help you with support and refunds.

ShuttleDrop contains no analytics, no crash reporting and no advertising code.

This website

shuttledrop.app is served by Cloudflare, which keeps standard server logs for security. We don't set cookies.
